BIBIMBAP MIT POPCORN

BIBIMBAP WITH POPCORN

Bibimbap is a traditional Korean dish that is healthy and gives you strength for the whole day; the perfect basis for a nerve-wracking football match. It consists of rice, beef, vegetables and egg and is traditionally stirred after serving. For that certain something extra, we have refined the bibimbap recipe with some popcorn.

The third game of the German national team will take place on June 27, 2018 against South Korea.

Ingredients

  • 30g Popcorn Corn Butterfly
  • 2 tbsp popcorn oil
  • 200 grams of boiled rice
  • 200 g lean beef, cut into thin strips
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 200 g mung bean sprouts or soybean sprouts
  • 1 onion
  • 150 g spinach leaves
  • 1 red and 1 yellow pepper
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 tbsp sesame
  • 2 fresh eggs
  • cooking oil or sesame oil
  • Soy Sauce, Honey, Salt, Pepper

FOR 2 LARGE PORTIONS

preparation

With the popcorn loop you prepare the popcorn as usual, but without sugar or salt and then chop it up.

The vegetables (apart from the spinach) are cut into narrow strips and fried in a pan with a little oil, a little garlic, salt and pepper. Steam the sprouts and spinach leaves in hot water.

Sesame and the chopped popcorn are briefly roasted in a pan.

Briefly marinate the beef strips in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, honey and a little oil and then sear them in a pan with a clove of garlic.

Divide all the ingredients as hot as possible between 2 bowls and arrange them nicely. Finally, put an egg yolk (or alternatively as a fried egg) in the middle and serve.

The finished bibimbap is traditionally stirred again before eating so that all the ingredients are mixed together.
