The classic Turkish pizza ingeniously interpreted with popcorn - vegetarian, delicious, light and fruity: popcorn lahmacun!



For the filling
  • 50 g ready popcorn
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 10 g chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp paprika paste
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 3 tbsp Popcornloop popcorn oil
  • 1 lemon
For the dough
  • 300 grams of flour
  • 150ml milk
  • 3 tbsp OIL
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • some water


First that with the popcorn loop Mix the freshly made popcorn with the tomatoes, onion and parsley in a large bowl. Then add the paprika pulp, oregano, oil and salt and stir with the hand mixer until an even mixture is formed.

Now mix flour, milk, oil, sugar and salt in another bowl, add a little water in between and knead until the dough is smooth. Form 12 balls of dough with your hands and roll out each one so that the dough measures about 15 centimeters. Place all circles of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread the filling on them using a tablespoon. Then place the tray in the preheated oven on the lowest setting and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown.

When the lahmacun is ready, squeeze the lemon juice and spread it over the dough pieces together with the tomato and onion mixture and enjoy!
