KALTER POPCORN-HUND

COLD POPCORN DOG

The run-up to Christmas is here and without a doubt these are the weeks of culinary temptations. To make matters worse, we've also found a sweet, sinfully delicious chocolate popcorn recipe for you: Cold Popcorn Dog! The only warning: the kids are guaranteed to love it (so hide it in the fridge)!

FOR 6-8 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS COLD POPCORN DOG

  • 2-3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 50g Popcorn loop popcorn corn
  • 150 g bittersweet couverture
  • 450 g whole milk couverture
  • 150 g coconut fat
  • 200 grams of cream
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds

PREPARATION

First line a loaf tin (approx. 24 x 10 cm) or any other shape with baking paper.

Then the popcorn as usual with the popcorn loop, but without sugar or salt.

Roughly chop the couvertures. Crush coconut oil and put in a saucepan. Now add the cream. Melt slowly over low to medium heat while stirring. Scatter sunflower seeds into the dish, then line the bottom with popcorn. Spread enough chocolate cream on top to completely cover the popcorn. Layer the popcorn and chocolate cream alternately.

Place the cold dog in the fridge for at least six hours (preferably overnight). Remove from the mold and cut into thick slices. The kids will love it: delicious!
