There is a particularly delicious and sweet recipe for the whole family to match the Easter season: A popcorn Easter egg! You don't have to look for it anymore, it's too conspicuous for that. Because with this delicious popcorn snack you not only make the kids happy, but also impress your relatives.

Ingredients popcorn easter egg

For the egg:

  • 110g Popcorn Corn Butterfly
  • 4 – 5 tablespoons sunflower, rapeseed or coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 130g marshmallows
  • Food coloring of your choice
  • 70g Crunchy Chocolate Breakfast Cereals

For the decoration:

  • 250 g rolled fondant in white
  • rubber bunny
  • Powdered sugar for rolling out the fondant
  • food glue
  • Butter for greasing hands

preparation

First you prepare the popcorn as usual with the popcorn loop too, but without the addition of sugar or spices. Melt the butter in a pan and stir in the marshmallows over low heat until they melt too. Now color the creamy mass with the food coloring, fold in the finished popcorn and the breakfast cereals and remove the pan from the stovetop.

Grease your palms with a little butter and form the slightly cooled popcorn mass into an egg. Then spread some icing sugar on the work surface, roll out the fondant on it and cover the lower part of the egg with it. Now glue the rubber bunnies to the fondant using edible glue. Finally, you can decorate the popcorn Easter egg with other sweets as you like. Bon appetit and have fun feasting!
